Need some help with your backyard flock? The Helpful Homestead is available for phone consults! You'll have a half hour all to yourself to ask any and all questions about birds, coops, predator proofing, chickens and gardening, and anything else you can think of! We are well versed in chicken breeds with regard to friendliness and egg laying. Our personal flock has been cultivated to be a mix of mama, laying, and pet birds. We do not consult on meat birds.
